These Florida metro areas saw the most growth in 2024

Overall, Florida dropped a little in U-Haul's rankings last year. Florida has been in the top four states for incoming trips since 2015, and was No. 1 in 2019. In 2023, Florida was second behind Texas. but last year we were fourth behind South Carolina, Texas and North Carolina.

Gasparilla Children’s Parade 2025

Ahoy, lil’ mateys! Prepare to kick off the Gasparilla season with a swashbuckling pirate palooza and parade for buccaneers of all ages! On Saturday, January 18, from noon – 7 p.m., the pirates invade Tampa Bay with a spectacular 1.5-mile parade route featuring 125 dazzling floats and treasure galore for the little ones to collect.
